Organizational Purpose

To make arts exposure, education, and engagement accessible to veterans and underrepresented or underserved youth through scholarship and outreach.

Mission

The mission of The Storytellers Alliance Community Outreach Program is to build relationships, increase confidence, ignite a love of storytelling, improve communication skills, and truly form an alliance of storytellers among members of the community.

Core Values

  1. Making programs accessible to the community, regardless of education, experience, or socio-economic status
  2. Providing a creative platform to empower undiscovered and unheard voices
  3. Building a safe, welcoming, and trauma-informed community to continuously engage with and learn from each other
  4. Facilitating personal growth and healing through the arts
  5. Leading high-quality, structured arts education programs in literary, visual, and performing arts
